Greetings All,

It is very good to read your contributions and to see the multiple issues 
being raised and from a global group! I am not summarising as we go 
along because we have a short space of time and I will write up a report 
on our e-consultation this weekend to be presented at the workshop 
and circulated here.

Please do keep your contributions coming in and feel welcome to 
respond to any of the points raised at any time. 

I am presenting the next goal and set of questions here. But please 
respond to earlier questions should you still have contributions to make.

Goal 3:
To explore how a broadcasting model is used in different parts of the 
continent to address rural women=92s issues and concerns and broaden 
their participation in decision-making over matters that impact on their
living conditions.

*How are radio and television broadcasting being used to advance  
women=92s human rights?

*How can we use radio for women=92s empowerment?

*What are the strategies and opportunities for linking rural women with 
radio?

*What are the difficulties experienced in linking women with public, 
private and community broadcasters? And does this make a sustainable 
impact on their programming?
