[Women Information Network]

Dear All,
I am Miriam Menkiti, a Nigerian journalist and I work for Radio Nigeria in
Enugu , South East Nigeria. I am also the Executive Director of a media
focused Non governmental organisation, Women Information Network (WINET) Our
organisation's vision is to have an informed society where the people know
their rights and obligations. We are interested in disseminating information
to women in particular, having realised that information is power and women
need it to survive in the modern society. However, ICTs are not readily
available for the women here. I want to learn how to use it to improve the
lives of women.
