My name is Sharon Mwalongo and a member of the media
women's media organisation in Zambia as wll as a
freelance practitioner. I'm currently working on a
media project with media women in the Southern
province to promote and increase the voices of rural
women in ICTS, particularly in the Southern Province
of Zambia.

I believe that ICTS are a vital tool for development
and need to be available and accessible to all,
particularly those in remote areas who are rarely
covered in everyday life. Radio in particular is the
most preffered and accessible media in Zambia,
although the combination of the various ICTS leads to
a more enhanced and informed society.

I hope learn and share as much from the Zambian
exprience as from other countries.
