(S)he-bytes is a not-for-profit, audio-based Women’sNet project supported by Open Society Foundation of South Africa (OSF-SA). The project seeks to raise awareness of the development issues and concerns of women, the poor and marginalised communities through the production of interviews, Public Service Announcements (PSAs) and “sound portraits” by communities. The main purpose of this mailing list is to: -Send updates about the project for the next couple of months -Find out how the (s)he-bytes productions are being used -Explore other gender-related production needs and interests of radio stations and community-based organisations (CBOs) -Evaluate the project and to see how it can be improved upon The list is a read-only, which means that recipients will be receiving information; all comments can be sent via email to: shebytes@womensnet.org.za To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the shebytes.project Archives.
